I've encountered this using an ISP that had rotating IPs (techie but slow brain today for techie stuff). Go to use a service I would use every day and got IP banned because somebody using that IP address was abusive somewhere somehow.

Not sure if you are having the same issue as me. To resolve, I opened the browser's saved password settings, and discovered it had the new password saved AND my old password with the same username. Deleting the saved, incorrect password solved the problem. I'd be logged in but trying to purchase or check-out, would require the password to be entered again. I'd enter correct details, but somehow the browser would auto-fill the incorrect details when the page auto refreshed, and would throw out the incorrect details error.
In short: clear or delete the saved passwords.
