Is there any good game about chess in Steam?

Highly unlikely. Why isn't chess.com or the ICC or playchess.com for that matter not enough? There aren't achievements on either of those, but still, you would still enjoy them. Oh, or FICS, if the other 3 is not to your liking.

3 subscription servers with limited guest/free-user features and then the one where you just play other loonies who argue about politics and crap. None of them are great options unless you're paving your career to professional chess with your wallet.

If you want Chess though I'd suggest the Ubisoft Chessmaster series. Better than the steam ones.
