Hello, I used SGTools for the first time because the Key is to a DLC of a game that was removed from steam in August, 2022.
Because of this, i think it is hard for me to find users to enter the giveaway.
Also the giveaway has 0 contributor value, so even if it has less than 5 entries, I am not losing anything.

The game is called X Wars Deluxe
and the DLC is X Wars Deluxe: Gold Name.

SG Tool link i created checks three things

  1. Activated all wins
  2. No multiple wins of same game
  3. You have X Wars Deluxe

Link: https://www.sgtools.info/giveaways/14383025-55a6-11ed-9e37-fa163e0a8583

Please let me know if there is any problem as it was my first time using SG Tools.

Happy Diwali to everyone!

I might be wrong, but as the base game is "Profile Features Limited", I think Steam's API will not report owners of the game, so nobody can enter a DLC giveaway for the game on Steamgifts.

No, that's not the case anymore.
Steam added an option to its API in June 2020. If enabled the games in limited profiles are well listed.

Oppenh4imer appears to be correct. I have the game and meet the other two requirements, but when I click the "check requirements" button, I get a JavaScript error message saying something went wrong instead of the usual "you didn't meet the requirements" message.

Hey Darshao!

I've had the same thing happen as devonrv above, when I click 'check requirements' I get the same popup, so I think no one will be able to join the giveaway unfortunately.

The game is not removed from steam because its page still exists. It is simply removed from sale.
So you don't need to go through sgtools for that. Steamgif should detect that the owner has the base game and he will be allowed to try his luck.

I dont qualify for it and i still got the "something is wrong" popup. I guess there is something wrong with the rule that broke sgtools.

SGTools discussion

I am not sure what setting values caused the strange behavior....
You might want to report the problem to the developer and see what happens.🤔

Syntax is reversed, correct way to do ownership check is

1134150 in owned_games

which means the rule builder is bugged.

The rule is superfluous anyway, as entering for DLC is not possible without the base game per SG already.

it is autogenerated syntax

As Tristar said, the correct rule is

1134150 in owned_games

If the auto-generator wrote the rule the other way around, it's bugged sorry!
