They banned my account with credit and games on it, for no reason. When I appealed this ban, and asked for a reason why, they made me jump through fucking hoops to get it unbanned, only to tell me later that in fact, it can't be unbanned, and the games and credit on the account are lost. Their support team takes 10 days to answer one of the most simplest of tickets, and that reply was only with a 20% voucher code, which can't be used in conjunction with any other vouchers, AND THEY STILL DIDN'T FIX THE FUCKING PROBLEM.

I don't post on the forums on GMG, my card details are entirely legitimate, and in fact the same as the one I use on steam, and my steam account is still going so it's obviously nothing like that. They did not actually send me a reason for banning my account, and as I can't think of one myself, the only logical conclusion is that there is no reason, until they provide me with one.

"this is not a referral scheme."
Sure it's not. Let's wait for BANHAMMER.

Read the FAQ. "Do not link to any referral programs."
I'd define referral programs as something like Lockerz etc. I was obviously incorrect in this matter.
Hell I read the FAQ and even read a few pages down the forums to see if there was anything I could use to help me define the difference between a "referral program" and a simple referral link.
I now understand the difference is apparently nil and will therefore never post anything like this ever again.
Pretty simple.

I've learnt the FAQ is open to interpretation, and sadly mine was wrong.
You've learnt that a polite reply such as yours was appreciated and informative.
I wasn't calling you a pitchfork wielder at all, more your less linguistically able brethren who replied :)

You're an asshole that keep spamming the same reply. Referral schemes REFER to referral links too you dumbass!

Yeah, closing it. Just waited for everyone to stop talking etc.
I'm not a coward. The internet allows us to avoid our mistakes with a "close" or "delete" button.
I'd rather show that I've understood what I did wrong and made amends, or at least apologized for it.

Well then I'll delete everything in here.
If "referral link" is the same as "referral scheme", then I am absolutely wrong to have posted this.
You're all screaming banhammer but my OP was a straight forward, not even slightly covert "Here is a referral link and here is a voucher." I wasn't dressing it up as anything that it wasn't etc. Sure this isn't a justification to have broken the rules, but I have corrected my mistake in a speedy and apologetic manner and even said thank you to the people who have corrected me, see below.
Thank you for those who did so for INFORMING ME POLITELY THAT I WAS WRONG TO HAVE POSTED THIS.
Everyone else who is pretending I am Hitler for trying to save you some money and apparently not interpreting "referral program" as "referral link" can go and, to put it politely, fornicate with themselves.
Ta-Ra.
