Yeah, famine in Ukraine and also genocide and repressions in occupied territories, like Baltic states. I am from on of them and I know a lot about it's history during WW1 and WW2 and Cold War. There is a Museum of Genocide Victims in my country and I have been there a few times. One time I was a "guide" for foreigners and tried to translate some of featured exposition and history.

While he may have tried to make a serious topic (I'm not sure, to be honest), I don't think the community in general is mature enough to handle sensible topics like this one. (I'm not saying everybody here is dumb or anything like that, just my view on how this kind of thread usually degenerates into a shitstorm).

+1, better suspend flooders, who think they are funny. Or just give us thematic forums for different kind of stuff.

We will be cracking down on those soon enough. But as was said, there's a reason the no political threads exists. I've let some threads go, like that Africa thread, as surprisingly, the morons were the minority, but this one would get out of hand quickly and seems to have no purpose but be a list for people to refer to to say "Your country killed my country."
