Steam cards idling profit

I use them to craft badges and have no alt account to farm.

Purchase total: 56,31€
Sales total: 235,73€
Net gain: 179,42€

and still 187 drops left worth approximately 11,45€ and about 4€ from the ones i have listen in the market.

Since cards appeared? A lot more than 100$. One time I sold a foil for 15 euro alone.

Card idling will fund about half of my new graphics card when I get round to selling them all. Gonna buy CSGO stuff, sell them on opskins and cashout to paypal.

It's slow progress as I'm too lazy to put many cards up for sale at a time. Steam balance has risen about £25 in the last month, I really need to get on with listing everything or this will take a year!

Edit: Market transactions won't really show any gain when I'm done as I'll be buying all those skins. At the moment it's:

Why would anyone even purchase those cards from all those shitty free games that are being given away here and there

I did some very basic "manual idling" a lot of time ago when cards were a novelty... got a few $.

ES says I should be able to make some $75 if I idled all the way through almost 2000 games with drops left... no way i'll do this manually, and I don't like the idea of scripts messing with Steam! :V

ES says like 1500€ profit, but it of course misses real money used.

If I idle a game for cards, it is to create the badge for it. I try to get the 5 normal levels and the foil level for each game. If I end up with spare cards it's due to purchasing booster packs from the market and having bad luck with getting the same card numerous times. I also get some booster pack drops due to my level.

The only cards I place on the market are the aforementioned spare cards. I don't idle for profitz.

I made 504 cards worth 36 $

It's not profit, but it does fund my gaming addiction. Since I started using the market, I have made
$64. I sell mostly cards and maybe a background or something, nothing big. Not too bad, I pretty much got a new AAA game for free just by selling cards over the years.
