HOGs! Love 'em or not buy 'em?
Why do they keep filling these bundles with the same games? There are tons of HOGs on Steam now, I want almost all of them, but they keep putting the same titles in the bundles, I doubt there's anyone who doesn't own these ones by now. There's two that haven't been, great, so that's about $2 a game if I buy this. Not really a great deal, boooooo

Well, IndieGala uses the reputation of AM (quality in regard of HOGs), so they can't put any other HOGs in there. Due to prices and their own reputation IG can barely build a one dev/publisher bundle.
AM on the other side can easily define which games get into it.
So if you're not into trading or want to level up here on SG: don't buy it.

there are other nonbundled AM HoGs aswell, 2 new to bundle only is way too few, 3-4 is the usual. secret order 6 released same month and myth seekers. Persian nights 1 month older, unbundled, scarlett mysteries also older than myth seekers by 2 months, unbundled. Also, they could have placed some once bundled in it instead all of the 4+ bundled ones, like lost grimoires 1-2, queens quest 2.
As this bundle way to repeating and knowing the fact they release about every 4weeks a new game the next AM bundle literally could be a full new releases as they added only 2 new to this one.

I expected nothing else. But I see more responsibility for the mixture of this bundle at AM, not at IG. AM has to agree on the bundling and if they think that their new releases should still only be available at Steam for the base price or only low discounts there, IG could only react by not doing an AM bundle.

Basically Artifex Mundi and Daedalic are the top ones that ever had a (real) bundle for themselves on IG - the happy hour option makes bundles ridiculously cheap, and because of that many devs just don't want to deal with them. (when you can get ~10 games for 1-2,5$ max, just imagine how happy a dev can be when each game earns a few dozen cents tops, along with the option that grey markets often get crammed with the same copies, downing sales for a good while.)

I assume a similar reputation to the one from "our"/gamer's view. Like adam mentioned there's the happy hour option which decreases the value even more and leads to trading among gamers. Then there are the really bad bundles IG provides (new releases, but shovelware like Dexion Games). In the last years IG showed us that they rely more on quantity than quality.

Artifex Mundi does not have a significantly large portfolio, and it is also likely more lucrative for them to add as many of their own games (instead of ones they oly publish) as possible for a slightly higher return.
Also, by this time, I think the old ones are living from card money.

Indeed, would be nice if they did just HOGs bundles every now and again. As much as I like Artifex Mundi, I own almost all the games they developed/published, so I wish we'd get other HOGs thrown into the mix too.

I forgot about the Happy Hour thing, it's worth it to do that even just for two games so I've joined a group buy. I couldn't work out the whole HH thing for ages until someone added me to a group and feel foolish for all the bundles I've bought before at non HH prices. I can see why devs wouldn't like the concept. It's a shame that some devs can't 'opt out' of having a HH for their bundle so we could see some better quality stuff. I don't mind paying £3 or even a little bit more for a decent bundle.

Well, tried the VPN and can't pay by debit card when using it. Can't pay with Paypal either with or without VPN, it's loading for ever and using a lot of RAM on Firefox. Doesn't work on Safari iPhone either. lol
Edit: It worked with a VPN on iPhone after several attempts. Saved me like $0.60 :,)

damn i hate these re-bundles with 2 unbundled Mundi games....i can never complete it so cheap, because i don't want to buy it for 2 games...
Tremorgames is mostly the best way, but these games are sometimes not available or to fast away. :/
