totally agreed. Human centipedes and those "activities" are boring as hell ;) i don't get what's so "scary" about those :D not even good movies

The sequel is just a horrible horrible movie.

Often movies based on true events pale compared to its origin. This goes for anything. Think Troy was fun? Read about the remaining history of that time. It's beyond anything you see in the movie. Think Blackbeard aka Edward Teach depicted in many creations is a compelling character? Read about the real Blackbeard and the time he lived in. Imagine those battles and other incidents actually happening as you read. Fiction is amazing, but the reality that inspired it is often far more interesting as it isn't limited to the imagination of a single person.

Watch the second one for a better knowledge of both movies

I saw both of them and because I was bored as well. The first one was meh/decent but the second one was just plain stupid imo.

I prefer the humancentipad, even if it did never learn to read.

Um, overrated? I wasn't aware it got good ratings anywhere. Ugh.

The only thing worse than the first movie was the second one. Much, much worse...

It was utterly unmoving, the second was worse. A Serbian film didn't do much for me either.

I must be the only one who thought it was good, it is not supposed to be scary. It played out rather well development and story is better than a lot of other films I have seen recently however granted the second one is awful

Human Centipede has 4.5 on Imdb so I wouldn't really call it overrated. It always depends on the person watching whether the horror movie will scare you or not. For example the only movies that I found slightly scary were Insidious and Sinister, but some other people thought they were boring. On the other hand you have horror movies with loads of gore that some people find scary and I just find them interesting to watch. So I don't really rate horror movies only by how much they scare me, but also by how much they surprised me/interested me, etc.

i avoid that kind of movies

Never seen the first one. Like the 2nd one for what it was. I don't know what people expected.
