The enjoyment of trains is one of the few things I genuinely don't understand. I'm not a huge fan of planes, or military history, or architecture, or medieval times, but I at least understand the appeal of all those. I have a few esoteric interests, myself even (MLP and pirates come to mind), but I just don't understand how or why people love trains with every fiber of their being. To love something as much as trainspotters is something I wish to experience in my life.
