Dishonored bored me so much I just couldn't finish it, I bought Far Cry 3 a few days ago and it's awesome.

I finished Far Cry 3 but don't know about Dishonored. Far Cry 3 is really good for time-kill and It's also a great FPS.

i've played and finished both games and enjoyed both, if i had to pick one i would probly go with FC3 because i prefer shooters.

Far Cry 3 absolutely if you like stealth and japanese,chinese history, but if you would prefer a game like thief buy Dishonored.

Far Cry 3 is one of the best games I've ever played. I enjoyed it SO much and it has such an incredible world to explore.
I did play Dishonored for a little while, but got bored easily (might give it another try, some day...) I'm sure it has a good story though, but compared to the whole Far Cry 3 experience? Nah. Far Cry 3 offers so much more than that. From the beginning it's like you are playing in an action movie. And all that freedom you have... Oh and having Vaas as the villain, that should be reason enough to play this game.

Also if you experience performance problems with Unreal Engine 3 games; you might want to think about Dishonored.

Far Cry 3

Far cry 3 is open world game and it's FPS. Dishonored is more linear but have a lot of ways to achieve your goal and it is more stealthy or at least the game is made with this purpose. If u like tropical adventure - Far Cry 3. If u like steampunk atmosphere with deeper story - buy Dishonored.

Far Cry 3 mate

I was so hyped for FC3 it was the first game I got during sales, and while it's fun, the story at some points is beyond retarded, and the game can get boring in a while. Far Cry 1 was far superior, but if you like it, go ahead.

I liked Far Cry 3 a lot more than Dishonored.

I like the 2, I played FC3 more than the other. I would suggest to get the more discounted one now, and the other later. Both are great games you probably won't regret to play.

Totally different games, as mentallydisordered said, no point in comparing them. I have personally loved, enjoyed and replayed both.

Far Cry 3 is better, online, single player and coop mode for 4 persons, Dishonored only single player and for my opinion is a low copy at bioshock

Option C: Blood Dragon, Thief Gold & Thief 2.

Far Cry 3 is a bit longer than it should be; Blood Dragon is the same game play in a tighter package that doesn't wear out it's welcome. Dishonored is ok, but the Thief games do a lot of stuff it does better, despite being much older.
