I understand why some people don't like DkS2 as much as 1 but I still think it's an amazing game. Also thinking of SotFS as a paid patch is pretty ridiculous, its basically a director's cut which it seems like most games do nowadays but one that is worth getting if you liked the game and especially if you didn't get the dlc.

My main issue with SotFS is why a game with multiplayer as one of its selling points had to get a "director's cut" completely incompatible with the old version less than a year after it came out. If I had gotten DLCs, I'd be even more pissed.

up until the summer sale when the SotFS edition went on sale I was being invaded fairly frequently in a lot of the areas. I mostly play the souls games for the PvE, but i understand what you mean, its too bad they couldn't have figured out a way to not split the player bases.

Xiiram expressed his delight n surprise at a reveal at E3 event. I said The event started with a bang but second day wasn't as awe inspiring as the first one because DS3 reveal was leaked a week ago by TheKnow. Fallout , Doom ,Battlecry created buzz around the interweb. fallout subreddit is acting like Bday n Xmas came early & they got weed n acid as gift while already dosed on Prozac.

I just hope it's more like Dark Souls and not like DS2. And I'm afraid that they're turning this into a franchise that gets pushed out way frequently and it loses the magic it has.

I'd like to see them develop another multi-platform franchise maybe have 3 total and release a game every year and a half, but yeah i don't want to see a new Dark Souls game every year (although a small part of me wouldn't mind).
