Thanks, bump!
If you don't mind me asking: Why are you not allowed to have posters in your room?

At least for me it was because my parents said it would mark the walls. (Could be landlord) Tape etc. It wasn't until we found some putty stuff that worked but turns out it bleached the paint.

Another Song = Cambodia is, by my opinion, The BEST Kim WIlde's song.
Posters: As 16y, I had Centerfolds around my room walls... But when my GrandMa came to visit... I was forced to put some James Bond posters, over them... :D

Acoustic is even more beautiful, her brother next to her seemingly got her into the music business with kids in america (added link in the OP).

I had posters in my room, but they were varied and except one, not music related. I had a poster with all cetaceans passing by our shores, for example. The only music poster I had, and I still keep safe, is a "No Future" with the Sex Pistols, black and white photo, the only things colored where the letters and the white of the eyes of Johnny Rotten.
Really I didn't know who were the Sex Pistols or anything, I was too young. It was a gift from my cousin, the "artist" from my mother's family side. One of my most precious posessions and memories is a small statue of a man made by him. And two Metal Hurlant volumes that my aunt would think it's worth my death if she knew I have them.
I liked Kim Wilde but here only two songs were widely known, You Keep Me Hangin' On, and You Came. The rest were pretty unknown. However Cambodia has been a real great rediscovery. I was more into Sandra and C.C. Catch back then.

Most probably neither. It wasn't a Sex Pistol's era poster. It's rather something made after their break-up when the band truly gained fame. I was 5yo when they broke up and about 10 when my cousin gave me the poster. Also, McLaren had an artist to make the band's disc sleeves, posters and merchandising. Something Reid?
If I find it quickly I could tell you the copyright year. A quick search showed me that there are so many posters of them that it would be hard to find mine.

Bright lights the music gets faster
Look boy, don't check on your watch
Not another glance
I'm not leaving now, honey not a chance Hot-shot, give me no problems
Much later baby you'll be saying never mind
You know life is cruel, life is never kind
Kind hearts don't make a new story
Kind hearts don't grab any glory
We're the kids in America.
Story behind the song (Top 2000 are great items about the origin and history of a song).
If i was allowed to have posters in my room i probably would have one of Kim Wilde. :p
Another song.
And another.
