I saw that you didn't speak about the movie Star Wars: the Rise of Skywalker. Well ... I didn't see this movie either, even though I'm a Star Wars fan, so my guess is my favorite movie in the franchise: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (which I recommend, if you haven't watched it... even if you haven't be a fan of the series).

I thought it was pretty good overall. It did a good job at fixing continuity errors from the two X-Men franchises and it was a reasonably enjoyable watch overall. I think I enjoyed a lot of the Avengers and the newer Spider-Man films more, but the X-Men franchise was the first I saw in the early 2000s and I fell in love with them, for better and for worse. lol

I agree with what you said. The X-Men movies were all over the place before DoFP, that's why I liked it so much (+ for Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy, which are 2 of my favourite actors)

They played their roles very well. Only eclipsed by Sir Ian Mckellen, Sir Patrick Stuart, and Hugh Jackman imo. Maybe it has to do with the emphasis of their characters now that I type that out lol

This is more of a recommendation than a guess: Charlie Wilson's War. If it's not on your list i highly recommend considering it. It's based on a true story how a dedicated person (Tom Hanks) with only a few helpers were able to change the course of the cold war and win the afgan war. Have watched it more than LOTR at this point and it still makes me astonished.
