Muse Dash Plus! I doubt it'll get any cheaper than last sale, but I'm getting bored of playing the same tracks over and over again.

Other than that, maybe one or two racing games, NFS or Forza Horizon, something like that. I've been playing Most Wanted (the older, abandonware one) but it would be nice to have a more modern one too.

Need For Speed games are generally fun. I remember Most Wanted being really fun back in the day. Forza Horizon would be cool.

NfS games will be cheaper, but I'd recommend FH4, if you don't have it yet, because it will probably soon lose the game as a service part. Afterwards getting cars will partially be more difficult and you will have fewer other players.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Oof, that almost seems like a reason to avoid FH4. Not sure if jumping in just as it's about to become abandonware is a great investment. :D

Well, the other view is: no chance to get it later.
If you don't care much about player count for multiplayer and don't aim for getting all of the 752 cars, it's still the same game.

Currently in my shopping cart but most likely won't be able to buy all of them

Another Crab's Treasure
Slay the Princess
Mega Man Legacy Collection
Dread Templar
Nioh: Complete Edition
SENRAN KAGURA Burst Re:Newal
Midnight Fight Express
Batman: Arkham Knight Premium Edition
Batman Arkham Origins
Sir Whoopass™: Immortal Death
Souls-Like Bundle buying it for Thymesia
Vampire Survivors: Operation Guns

Edit: Added Forza Horizon 4 Ultimate Edition to my cart because it'll be removed on 15th December. Now I'm 100% sure I will have to give up on some of these games this sale,oh well c'est la vie

That Thymesia bundle is the one with Asterigos as well? That's the one I plan on buying. I enjoyed Asterigos and actually have played a little bit of Thymesia, but that was on the Steam Deck and I didn't think it was particularly well suited to the Deck despite it being functionally fine. The screen was just too small for everything that was happening in the game IMO.

The Batman games should be super inexpensive.

Nope that's the "Plague and Myth Bundle",it's on sale right now for 38€ for both games https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/32291/Plague_and_Myth_Bundle/

Forgot about completing the set on MM games so got the MMXLegacy1/2 bundle.

As to FH4... It's just better than 5. FH5 seemed lazy. For USD$12 you will have alot of fun until December. In video game time that can be a long ways away.

Seems a little too obvious recommending the arkham collection but 85% off... Alot of game time in that USD$9

To The Moon. A real oldie for sure, but I'm eager to complete and play the trilogy after having played Impostor Factory recently.
Princess Castle Quest Doesn't go on sale very often so will snag it if it does.

I'm also eyeing Bugsnax, The Talos Principle 2, TUNIC, COCOON and Cuphead among others, but doubt that I'll get any of them for myself. Might do so for a giveaway.

No big AAAs for me. I operate on a shoestring budget :)

Yeah, but I doubt it since it's SE we are talking about and it's been on epic for a long time. I heard there is port issue, so I want to wait to see if that got fixed.

You are also right, considering how long it took them to drop the discount for most FF games from 50% to 60%.
Still, because of the port issues, there is a little chance they drop a bigger discount (50% for the bundle would be pretty good, I would say)

I love Steam, but Integrum is a bit cheaper over on GMG
https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/kingdom-hearts-integrum-masterpiece-pc/
With a "XP" 3% coupon on top I think I got for USD$54

Bad new is, if you read down to here, you saw someone pretty disappointed with some of the things left out. I havent tried GMG return policies, and don't want to in this case, butSteam's refund policy is actually pretty good, given digital delivery, etc.

I don't mind playing without joycon, in fact I prefer pc for this kind of games, but if it's poorly optimized + requiring EA account, that might be a problem.

I will plan on just borrowing it from a friend this time around, the 2D Zeldas just aren't exciting me anymore(ALBW did... that was the last 2D one to excite me)

I have no idea if you're playing along, but just in case you don't get it: Brits call chips crisps (and they're correct, of course). For example, french fries are a type of chip. I'd never refer to Doritos as a crisp, but they are thought of as a type of crisp.

Those look great, Taco! It’s been 5 years since Gray Matter had a discount. Does anyone know if sales require manual input from the developer every time, or can they set a certain percent each season and leave it?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Thanks!

We do have a couple developers in this forum, so I'm sure they could answer this accurately, but my guess would be they set it manually. Although, games with development studios and publishers that aren't in existence any longer still manage to get discounts, so IDK.

Far cry 5 DLCs to play with friends, love the game, ok dlcs, but they're still fun. And probably the ultimate edition for far cry 6 as its the second to last game I have to 100% in the series, though I do find it....boring, there's that feeling that since i finished all the other i might as well do this one. Also the rest of the ezio trilogy as I need revelations and that's it, then I can boot up assassins creed up again.

Respect for finishing the AC games, I'd love to 100% them all just like I did with Far Cry but I know damn well that'd take so much time. But personally the FC5 ending had me pissed cause it just lead into the worst game of the series that I completely forgot about (New Dawn) and honestly felt like I was punched in the throat for hoping for a decent ending
