Yep I noticed that too but I don't remember seeing it when I posted the topic. Never mind!

Personally, I don't really check the front page of the store on a daily basis, so I appreciate the heads up on interesting deals.

This. I even went to the front page today to look for the dungeon siege pack and I still didn't notice this.

Shame on you, you don't love Steam just enough. :(

Also, that means you don't check daily deals? why? D:

Many of these have been on the same kind of sales in the past. I've managed to miss out DLC Quest all this time though, so I bought that for £0.50

I could never really get into it, I really wanted to like it but the game was just not very engaging. about 90% of my time was spent doing cartography/mild platform jumping on top of rocks so I could see a landmark for triangulation.

the graphics made it pretty hard at some times to figure out what was a landmark and what wasn't (this is probably a matter of opinion)

Granted I didn't get very far (maybe like 1/8 in), but I did encounter the beast once this was in my 5 or so hours of playing. the island is so big I kind of feel like it wont happen too often unless it is directed to you somehow. Also the botany wasn't anything special, you didn't get to control anything so basically you just bring it to the botany station and it automatically identifies the plant for you. I would have liked a little more interaction personally. The survival aspect was nice and unintrusive, you regularly have to collect fresh water and also you have the option to fill your canteen so that you can have something like 2 swigs later to re-hydrate you.

basically what I got from the game was a bunch of mini-games centered around fleshing out an exploration game somewhat akin to minecraft without the crafting of actual buildings or tunnels.

something about the graphics also reminded me a bit too much of 3d wallpapers from like 2000.

I'm wondering too. It looks like Don't Starve as a FPS. Sir, You Are Being Hunted is like that as well.

Yeah I watched a review, it seems ehh honestly, I cant wait to get Sir though.

I had the chance to try Sir for about half an hour or so. It has very poor presentation, but a good atmosphere. I couldn't decide if I really liked it or not though.
