Today was the first day i used W8 in work and now i'm ready to wave goodbye to a start menu button, the only reason i ever used start button (in W7/Vista) was build-in search, now it is full screen.
As long as taskbar and desktop screen stays i'm okay with the changes :)

Windows 8 is good actually. I didn't like it too but I tried it out and now I have dual boot system - Windows 7 and Windows 8. I keep Windows 8 for stuff like Ableton Live because it uses less computer resources (CPU, RAM) so programs run better on it. I really like it. I don't know why people complain about Windows 8 so much.

In essence you have to learn new shortcuts and such for W8 as a lot of the interface doesn't carry over from windows 7/vista/xp. I would think there would be a compatibility test program you can use like the one they offered to those looking to upgrade to vista.

Anyone know why Windows 8 is far far cheaper than Windows 7, I've been offered Windows 8 for $15 few times. the only things that hold me is because my laptop driver didn't support Windows 8. Any idea?
Don't bother to reply if you are going "Inb4 Windows 8 sucks dick".
