Not necessarily true for Early Access games, it doesn't mean they will be removed from your account.

There have been a lot of cases where "for Beta Testing" keys were officially given for Early Access games and were never removed from the users' libraries. I even remember a couple of developers telling people "don't worry if it says "for beta testing", you'll keep the game forever".

But I agree that people creating GAs with these keys could run into problems if it's not the case and the game does get removed, eventually.

I wouldn't trust anyone's word other than the Devs. There is clearly a non-beta package available, but when redeeming people are getting the Beta package: https://steamdb.info/app/882150/subs/

This other page says Prime Beta at the top: https://www.ign.com/prime/promo/drone-strike-force

But I understand that IGN doesn't make it clear here: https://www.ign.com/articles/2019/08/28/get-drone-strike-force-free-with-ign-prime

Damn beta keys that get revoked after a limited time.

They taint all non-purchase means of getting the game.

When people don't disclose Beta key, after I ask people how they got their key, IF they respond they tend to care less and then are like "Well if you don't want it why did you wishlist or ask about it?" Believe it or not sometimes there are other legit giveaways or bundles that can include non-beta keys, but I guess its too much to ask for some people to be honest...

It doesn't help that IGN doesn't disclose that its beta or limited time access and there's no way you'd know unless you saw Prime Beta at the top of this other page
