I'm thinking of downloading Crysis 1, but I heard it's a powerful game to run.
I had a look at the store page's specs, but they say different stuff.

Old but useful thread i bookmarked a while ago. But it simply tells you from your browser if your computer meets the minimum req. for A game...not much else like what those req. are...but it's fairly easy.

I just tried this with games I've actually tried to run but couldn't even get in-game and this thing says they will run so idk how accurate it is

Why not. I run Crysis 1 on PC with:

2GB RAM

Processor: 1.86GHz (1 CPU)

Nvidia Geforce 6800

Win XP :P

While I don't know about the specs, I would suggest not using sites like systemrequirements.com/cyri because they can be sometimes inaccurate. It told me a lot of games would not be playable on my laptop, but once I download them and actually tried running them, they worked perfectly fine! I would suggest you check out Ytube searching for test plays of Crysis with a computer with similar specs. I follow one guy regularly called IntelHDGamer because we share similar pc specs and so far he hasn't let me down. You'd only really need to know the processor, graphics card, RAM size and DirectX version.
