Need some help with Xbox 360 wireless receiver

Hi guys.

So, I bought this one here:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Xbox-360-PC-Wireless-USB-Gaming-Receiver-Adapter-Controller-For-Microsoft-/301304261506?

In order to get the Xbox to connect to my home router, but this isn't doing anything at all.

Does anyone have any experience with this type of thing? The seller didn't help.
