I haven't seen a post on SG about this and I just want to spread the word.

So a dev of Danger Gazers uploaded their game to the Pirate Bay.

Torrent description:

Hey there! ShotX here, the developer of Danger Gazers.

The torrent was officially brought to you by ShotX.
This is the latest DRM-free version of Danger Gazers (1.1.0), there's no catch here,
no Steam only features, just the fully functional game.
As a developer, my only request would be to consider supporting and buying in case
you like Danger Gazers and want more indie games in the future.

Enjoy and have fun!
ShotX

Address of their game on PB:

Here is also a "thank you" post on reddit from the developer.

If you wish to support the dev, you can buy Danger Gazer from Steam for $10 or on itch.io.
There is also a sale on itch.io right now with 45% off.

Honestly, even if I would download this game from torrent, I will feel that I overpaid for it.

Why is that? It has fine reviews and looks fun.

Not sure why it is on my Steam Wishlist, tho, but I will keep it there, I always appreciate these kind of moves by the devs so I might buy it when discounted a bit.

Fine reviews, most of which positive just because developer put a game on a torrent. That does not says much about the game itself.
Also, please notice - I'm not saying about the game itself, I'm only saying what I personally would feel. Game does not look appealing for me. Maybe I'm missing some killer-feature that makes this game great, who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I get it, but comments like "overpaying for a free game" are common thing about real crappy stuff. I just don't see it fits here, even if you're not fan of the genre. "Also, please notice", I didn't say this is a great game, but I guess it is decent one at least (I took reviewers with most playing time into consideration, and those are before making game free).

I'm eating exposure, and pay rent with it too, so works by the people could belong to all the people. Aren't you?

Great game, that. The nightly base defense aspect suffers pretty heavily from the third available base onwards, but the game has some amazing atmosphere and nightmare/dream-logic worldbuilding stuff. Recommended.

Plus the main theme is low-key creepy but serves as a lullaby too.

I haven't played it yet, but it looks like a mix between The binding of Isaac and Nuclear Throne.
