Humble Weekly - Got an extra copy? Come in, get it!

There have been one or two games in other bundles that gave gifts if you already owned it.

I bought Poker Night 2, but already owned Poker Night at the time. If you haven't received your copy, close Steam and log back in.

Steam might have a slight backlog with the coupons from the Steam Trading Cards and the Humble Bundle.

Everyone should be receiving a gift if they already own it.

Yep, that 1 guy already has a gift of it in his inventory. Our first thought was he didn't get a copy because he already has one, but that would be a bit unfair. Anyway the extra copy isn't listed anywhere, so no tradegy :P

That could very well be the case. Rather than checking if the user has received free copy before and keeping that data, it'd be much easier to just check their inventory for a copy.

I received a copy from Poker Night 2 and also from this bundle, but the one I received from Poker Night 2 is long gone.

So, would this also work by entering two different keys from the bundle? I find it easier to have it in inventory then have the key laying around somewhere...

You only get 1 key for all games, so you'd have to activate the FULL bundle for just 1 copy of Poker Night...

Yes, I would say so too. I think it has something to do with the usual 'Pre order now, and get it's sequel for free. If you already have it, you will receive a copy to give away to friends' or something like that. Seems thay managed to do that somewhat backwards.

I mean, usually they just kinda 'overwrite' each other. I had Metro 2033 retail, then got it also from the THQ bundle, and afterwards also from the Facebook page. Tried it out what happened with enetering the last one, and as they are all called a little different, it activated Mero 2033 3 times on my account.

Yes, but I can only play one copie of it when it's activated on my account right? :P

I mean, in library it mentions it once, but in account history or something I can see it 3 times.

Edit: Or do you mean that I was stupid enough to try out the FB key on steam? :P

i owned everything but walking dead and wallace & gromit. didn't expect to get anything from the others because we usually don't and it said steam won't give you giftable copies for games you already own. i got my poker night through trade a while back but no new copy in my inventory. i just restarted steam and that didn't make a difference. has anyone else who got poker night through trade received an extra gift copy? any official word on whether we should expect to?

Same problem. Maybe this is the cause, I got my poker night 1 (gift), long time ago by trade, and now dont have a extra copy, after bought bundle... :S
