Got my New 3DS XL, with LoZ : Link Between Worlds, for Rs. 19400 (roughly 280$).

Now I need to buy games for the 3DS, but they cost a TON over here, mostly around 3K+ rupees. Does anyone know any 3DS game suppliers or eShop credit suppliers? If possible, I would like to buy a few games at 30$ or lesser per copy. Right now I believe I need these alone :

  1. Super Mario 3D Land
  2. Pokemon X/Y/OR/AS
  3. Super Smash Bros

Of course, there are other games I could buy, but they are not on my radar right now.

So can anyone point me in the right direction?

When I want new 3ds games I mostly buy them used. A lot of kids buy them and then try to resell them at a very cheap price so you won't find a problem buying them at a good price and in a good condition. I don't usually buy them new, tho.
Also get monster hunter (mh3u is the cheapest)

Well I would propably try to homebrew it personally. But I think that is above you.
One game that is new 3ds only is Xenoblades. Seems rather good if you into that type of games.

My question targets something different. Reread it, and you will understand.

Yeah as I guessed homebrew is a bit above you. That is also the reason why I don't really have any knowledge of such suppliers.
Sorry for confusion. My post was a bit pointless reply I guess. Enjoy free bumps though.

Instead of insulting, it would be nicer to point the faults you accuse me of doing. We all have feelings and just cause someone speaks imperfect English doesn't mean you should strike at them. I apologize to the host if I have done any harm of any nature.
I had no intention of being condescending or any of that nature. Everyone is free to make their conclusions though. But speaking and talking about them is key to understanding for both sides instead of striking like that.

Probably because not everybody who was annoyed by your comment took it that far to blacklist you.
Since you're not aware of how you were being condescending let me explain:
The expression "Something is above you" implies that the other person is stupid and is generally considered quite rude.
Also promoting piracy is frowned upon here on SG.

"Something above you" in this case for me meant that it is going too far for the person. Atleast that was my intention. Not that the person is stupid or something like that.
But guess it can be seen in that way. So thank you for bringing this to my attention. Will refrain from using it in future. If there is even more such points, let me know. Constructive criticism is always welcome.

Also ofcourse we all follow the rules of the site and the laws. Shouldn't be afraid to discuss though as long as we abide by those rules and regulations.

And this is why I stopped buying consoles

Love Nintendo, only console I buy. As for games, I would look in to pre-owned as said above. Nintendo very rarely has sales, and they often are not great. Alternatively, sometimes stores like best buy have buy one get one promotions for games.

No Best Buy in India :(

Any other big stores like that? I think target and walmart do that too. Unfortunately, I don't know stores in India.

None. Nintendo doesn't even bother in India. I mean, look at how much I had to spend to get the 3DS in the first place.

Just look for pre owned cartridges online. I don't know if you can access the eShop where you are at but sometimes they put games on sale for like 10 dollars (good games might I add) that usually cost a lot. So I would also check that.

No eShop support in India, so I have to use the US store. My only alternative to this is eShop cards, but those are costly too.

If the eShop is too expensive and local prices are too high - why not import (used) games?
The cost of the shipping should be far less still than the increase in local fees.

as an option to use a pirate cartridge Sky3ds. It work on all firmware versions and does not require any manipulation of your console. you removed the cartridge from the console and you're not a pirate. if you don't want to bother with it, then to buy second-hand cartridges.
buy digital versions personally I do not like ( although I bought a lot of them ). it is possible to wait for sale. but it very long. And usually on games from nintendo there are no discounts. I personally very distressed buying new3ds. DSLite was divine , and 3DS games interesting for me few (
God bless Google translator =)

Already bought the 3DS. I wanted to get the games from a retailer for cheap, if someone can direct me to one.

I will assume that India is PAL so you will probably have to buy from EU. Nintendo region locks their consoles so you have to be careful where you buy your games from. Unfortunately, I don't know of a retailer that ships to India :/.

Good luck!

There is no support in India by Nintendo. As in, I have to fake my country in the eShop. Also I am aware of the region lock over games depending on the console's original location. In my case, its US, so I am restricted to buying from there. I have heard of people online selling codes for games at as low as 20-25$, but can't seem to find them.

Love my New 3DS (even if the name is confusing as hell...) Pre owned cartridges are pretty much your only viable and still legitimate option to not get scammed.

Off topic, but I'd recommend trying out bravely default and bravely second if you're a fan of the genre, really good RPG 3ds games that I enjoyed and played the hell out of.

Go for Super Smash Bros

I guess you may have to go to Ebay to get some good deals but be careful of resellers and fakes. The game with Pit for smash bros in it is ment to be pretty good .

Actually Ebay is where I found games at 3K rupees, which is WAY more than I should be paying IMO. I know for certain that there are people selling codes for games on reddit somewhere, but I can't find them.

Isn't 3DS not region locked? Ebay? Buying used isn't so bad since it's a cart not a disc that can be scratched.

Ebay is where games are going for 3K rupees. Everyone has been telling me to go with used though, so I guess I will have to look into that.

Starting wth 3DS, Nintendo Handhelds are region locked (without hax). DSi is somewhat too as in it could only use matching region download titles.

Gag, what region is your system? You might be able to import from either UK or US sites to save money. Here in New Zealand, I've bought half my games from the UK for that reason.

I know you said you've checked eBay before (downloadable games I've found)

The prices look very decent to me. I see a Mario Kart 7 code for $15.50, Fire Emblem: Fates codes for $28.99, and some AC:NL codes for roughly the $30 or lower. If you get scammed, eBay has you cover since 99% of the time they will side with the buyer if the seller cannot provide proof product was delivered. In fact, codes on eBay is an honour system in which the seller prays they meet an honest buyer. You won't be finding Smash or Pokemon download codes at those prices. You will have to buy used physical copies from others or pay full price.

Walmart has US eShop credit with email delivery here, but you will probably need a VPN and a PayPal with an US address.
