I think i remember also having voted and we might have the same invite key, thus no steam key.
I posted a question to the dev about it on the Steam Retention discussion board, you could try the same.
[Edit] Dev told me to send him a pm, in which he gave me a key, very nice of him. Hope this gets some more positive reviews, because i think most negative ones are not really deserved.
