How to fake your steam status? (steam cards related)

People have mentioned having Steam Achievement Manager (or whatever it was called) up for each given game will grant card drops

Steam Achievement Manager, or SAM for short will make Steam think you're in-game.

"Hello everyone, I don't have a good connection to download all these new games getting cards" You're buying games to get cards? lol

Use steam achievement manager, it fools steam into thinking you have the game running even if you haven't downloaded it.

Surely this is fraud though? If he is useing a third party program to make it look like he owns a game he clearly does'nt then makes money from said scam.... I see him getting banned in the near future...

Ahh sorry i missread what he meant. I thought he wanted to find a way to get around not having the games..

Can't you get VAC ban by this? ( Did some google )
