Whitelist -- I add people to my whitelist who manage to impress me with their good character.
Blacklist -- My blacklist is reserved for those who do or say something really awful. Contrition will get your name removed, as will the eventual passage of time. (I have a forgiving nature.) At the moment, there is only one person on my blacklist.

No whitelist for me at moment but who knows if that might change?
I'm a lazy person, and the thought of managing a whitelist doesn't sound fun or rewarding to me. It actually sounds like a bit of a chore. I'd probably also end up feeling guilty when realising I missed some really good people off so in not having one I can avoid that too.

Entirely curious, but how do the people of Steamgifts choose how to or not use the whitelist feature? Mine is either a very good ratio of Ga's to wins, by either amount or quality, or a decent one and active in the forums, or a decent one and a fun event. And because I seem to not be able to create a discussion without a GA, here one is for Runaway: A Twist of Fate. Level 2 restriction.
EDIT: GA over.
If you do not use the whitelist feature, why not?
