What game should I get my 12 year old brother for Christmas from steam?

People here really don´t know what 12 year olds play!

just install an emulator onto his computer and let him play some real games like Earthbound and FF6 and some Tales of.. series. The games nowadays have just ruined what good games are and focus on games with gore and blood but can keep a 12 year old entertained by throwing in some (fancy) graphics.
