Spacecat in my email [No GA]

So i just got a spacecat in my email. When did this start happening? And it is directly from an SG email, not the GA creator.

To be fair there wouldn't be too many people that it affects in terms of mass GA creation and I'd rather newer people who might not visit frequently be reminded about their giveaways seeing as most of them probably wouldn't even know to opt in. It's easier for the minority to opt out than the majority to opt in.

your assuming that all those who are currently members have used their real email address - and not a throw away one - from experience, they haven't :) and the amount of bounced emails I receive is always amazing to me !

Far from it, I'm well aware of that and it's the reason i stopped bothering with level 1 giveaways, can be irritating waiting 5 days for people to log in or forgetting to leave feedback etc. Anyway, personally i like it how it is but obviously I can see why others would like it changed.

yeah we have struggled to get some people to notice they have won - even some who we leave notes for on old giveaways of theirs - starting to think those are the alts of other members :P

Not to mention trying to add them on steam only to be blocked without a word. Some people are just destined to make things difficult.
