Is there such a thing?

Anyway, whitelist recruitment. Hit me up if you think I'll accept you.
If you're one of the blacklisted few, then you can keep walking.
Fyi, most blacklists are people who win lots, and it's not because I hate you - i'd rather see people win who aren't just +1 collectors/hoarders.
Also this is not a blacklist recruitment/complaint thread, so please don’t make it that.

Giveaway Added for everyone - Level 3. (Please only enter if you don't already own the base game.)
Injustice 2 Legendary Edition

I'll be doing some whitelist giveaways when I get 50+ on my whitelist. Just over halfway there...

Welp, no-one seems interested, so I'll close this thread.

It's strange that you would admit that.

The user admitted to being a +1 collector, almost as if to say they want me to blacklist them.

Total control but of what ? life ? plans ? world domination [but after love] ?

Life is too chaotic to have total control :s

Imagine if someone could have total control though...

Wouldn't it be boring, though? It's like playing Doom with all cheatcodes enabled.

Well you can't have total control on a lot of things in life, but thankfully your whitelist is one of them!

I remember not being in control when it got released in a bundle, only for it to be the standard edition...

You could still control the character - I guess that's the glass half full perspective in this case!

There's control, like controling emotion, what you think, what you say, what you do.
But total control? Nah.
I can't even control my own body, can't even control when to poo whenever I want it. :(

I'd be awful if I had total control. I'd try not to be, but I know I would not be able to resist all the temptations.

It depends in the context.
You can have total control of a baby and it will still poop when it wants.
Probably we use the term without actually having total control over something.
Unless you bought Control and the 2 DLCs and then you do have total control, until Control 2 is released...

Nah I don't think there exists anything like total control. I can't even control my body knowing that I am sick rn with cold.

I used to be a control freak until I realize that being a chaos freak is much less stressful.

Control is fleeting. Enjoy it in small doses.

I would say that there isn't such a thing as total control as the world consists of too many variables.
We can only control or manipulate a very very small amount of them on our own, but the majority of what and how things happen is completely outside of our control, even in our immediate surroundings. It's best to just go with the flow and directly influence things that you want to have certain outcomes.

Other than that... let chaos resume

I find there are too many people trying to control things they can't control. There are few things in life we can control, and that, wether you're conscious of it or not, creates lots of frustrations. My life has been easier since I realized and accepted that I can't control so many aspects in life that affect me.

You're in my whitelist; while I am not for collecting and +1, I admit my backlog is huge. I am always trying to change that tho, some periods with more success than others.

For sure, on a small enough scale. You can have total control over a pen in your pocket, but when you start going bigger scale you start to have less control individually. Life is just a series of calculated risks and gambles anyway :P

The way I see it total control would require one to also have complete awareness, and that seems rather unobtainable for complex tasks. So yes but only in very small scales and for very brief periods of time, not in an absolutist sense of course, just in the context of what's achievable and perceivable by a human.
In short, I think one can reasonably have total control over something like the equalizer of a music player, but not over the exact way the music is going to sound through speakers when in a noisy room. So don't obsess over it, I guess?
