What specs do you have?
What's your usual temp on your laptop? If you're not sure, try using "openhardwaremonitor" to keep track of your hardware temps.

I don't know where you're from and what stores are available to you but check local stores or online for coolers which have fans with high CFM.

Turn on air conditioning, make your ambient temperature lower.

Get a gas duster and blow out the vents. I don't have a laptop, but a friend's ran 10°C cooler after he cleaned them.

Dirty vents are a common source of laptop overheating issues, especially if pets are involved. My brother's old laptop basically had a small blanket blocking his vents from all of the dog hair and dust.

How big is your laptop? CoolerMaster X3 is a pretty good solution for most.

Dude, where I live the temperature goes up to 48C every day. I use my laptop to game. I don't have any air conditioners, but my laptop's still alive. What's up with yours?

I was given this as a gift a while ago and really like it. The fan's strong, and it raises the laptop high enough to allow a lot of airflow. My screen's a 16.4" widescreen and the cooler still had space left on the sides. It's pretty rugged too, considering both it and the laptop travel, and I don't have space in my padded bag for it.

I guess that particular model is discontinued now, but they've got newer ones like it still.

Open it up and check if the vent is clogged with dust. My laptop used to get up to 98C until I clean it up. Now it rarely gets over 80 unless I play games like BF4.(Turbo-boost on)
