Spookifying Thread 2016

EDIT: And year 2016 of Spookifying is over! I've never done so many, even with Christmasifying. I've personally edited at least 110 images, and Skibby did some more too (thanks for the help!) resulting in a whooping 120+ Spookifications. I'm sad to admit that this was a bit too hard on me and that I'd prefer not to do this again next year. If I do a thread next year, I'll go easy on myself and just Spookify a handful of profile pictures like back in 2015. :P

But to be honest, it was pretty fun to casually sharpen my editing "skills" a bit, and all of you who appreciated and expressed your gratitude for my work kept me going. Thank you for the love and praises, they were unexpected but very welcome. ^^

Last year, I created a thread where users would request their profile picture to be "spookified" (given a horror touch). I would choose some users from the thread and edit their profile pictures in paintshop.

This year, I'm doing this a bit earlier. It was supposed to be created on Monday, but I forgot. Duh.
With that out of the way...

The important stuff

Alright, so, requesting a spookification is super simple. Just leave a comment asking to be spookified. However, this will work the same as last year; NOT everyone will be spookified. In fact, only a handful of you will get their profile picture spookified. If you check the previous Spookifying thread (see links below) you'll see that my spookifying is pretty complex, and much harder and longer to do than Christmasifying. To put it in perspective...

Last year, the thread was opened on October 24th and generated over 300 requests, of which I could only spookify around two dozens.

With that in mind, here's how this works:

1. I will be choosing users profile pictures to spookify at semi-random (if someone looks good to work with, I'll give it a try).
2. This is not first come first serve - I may or may not spookify you.
3. I'm lazy and busy. Sometimes I'll drop by to spookify a few profiles, but I'm not making any promises to anyone.
4. Are you good with a digital paint brush? Let me know if you want to help with spookifying. Provide an example of your work if possible though, because we're going for quality over here. >:D (Don't worry though, as long as you can handle some basic stuff, you're fine). Note that even though you request to be a "spookifier", I may or may not require your help for this thread. Depends on a lot of stuff.

That's all there is to it. Now let's begin spamming jbond with unpaid volunteer work! :D
