It's a giveaway, but you didn't get CV for it (toward reaching the next level). You need at least 5 entries for that.

I gave away a copy of Gauntlet a few weeks ago - had set it to invite-only level 10 for the recent high-level event. It didn't even cross my mind that there were so few level 10s that didn't already have the game. I got 3 entries and no credit, despite a post like this running and getting bumped for almost a week. To be clear, you need 5 entries to get credit if the GA isn't public. My lesson learned - don't make level 10 GAs invite-only. :)

It never crossed my mind that a public GA won't hit 5 entries, but I guess if the level is very high it can happen. I've never done a GA limited to anything more than level 4, so not an issue in my case.

This is technically true, but for a public giveaway to not reach 5 entries you need to give Bad Rats and limit to Level 10. When a giveaway doesn't reach 5 entries it's practically never a public giveaway.

Or you can make regionlocked giveaway for 1 hour when everybody sleep in that region for lvl 7+ that everyone has like 5cent game or 100p game

Just last week I had only 4 entries for my Level 5 Deponia giveaway, that was part of a private train.
You can't believe how worried I was I wouldn't get the 5th entry! And then in the last hour or so I got 2 more entries thankfully!

If you're interested in the games Lumino City (93% recommended) or It came from space, and ate our brains (91% recommended), I have two Level 0 Invite-only giveaways for these games, with 12 hours to go, and so far 0 entries. You just need to open your eyes to find them.

The term invite-only giveaway is a bit misleading. It's more like unlisted giveaway. This means it does not appear in the giveaways list, but can be accessed if you're given a link to it (or if the link is posted somewhere and you find it, e.g. on the forums).

I have a train, but you must gain access to each cart through puzzles. Nobody ever looks at my thread, I hope this train will gain some Steam here. :P Guess people don't like working for their giveaways.
Some amazing unbundled games are hidden behind locked Golden Chests found in each cart (fairly difficult puzzles). Only 1 chest has been cracked by 1 person so far (so yes, there are 3 unbundled giveaways sitting with 0 entries, and 1 unbundled giveaway with 1 entry. and 2 of the giveaways have separate OST DLC giveaways for people who already own the base games). There are 4 locked chests in total (1 per chest starting cart 2), and unlocking all 4 = receiving access to Undertale giveaway. Also, cart 1 has an unlocked chest containing an unbundled game (freebie much???)
All bundled giveaways = Level 1+
All unbundled giveaways = Level 2+
Everything ends December 11th, 2015.

I spent an hour on Q3 and still have no clue. Maybe you'd be so kind as to offer a hint? I seriously can't get anywhere with it. Only one game comes to mind and I tried inputting it in 5-10 different formats and I'm fairly sure it's wrong by now. But I don't know what else it could be.

Another option, have an empty & private Steam group included in all your whitelist (or group) giveaways, so that if you have this issue you can also add people by temporarily adding them to the empty group instead of to your whitelist.
