Hello guys!

It's just to let you know that someone is impersonating my steam name/picture and using my steamgifts rep to scam other user from this community.
As you can see on my profile you got a brief description that gives you the information about my trading background, and my profile will NEVER be private.
In this last 2 days got reports from different people, saying they got scammed in cd key's and csgo/tf2 keys.

Be really carefull whom you are trade with. If someone sends you a steamgifts rep page, make sure that's the guy you are trading.

Make sure to report him too.

Thanks!
T i L T '

EDIT: profile link removed.

First line under "general".

I don't think it's a great rule when one is calling out one's own impersonator as there's no chance the guy is innocent, but hey, them's the rules. Just remove the link to his profile from the first post and you can still warn people that you have an impersonator, tell them to be careful and make sure that it is indeed you they are trading with.

Believe it or not, yes, you can get suspended for warning people. It's a really backwards rule that ends up protecting the guilty more often than the innocent.

Kind of your fault, but he's an asshole for deleting it. I wouldn't have traded you ARK for it, but at least something in exchange.

He probably thought that you were trying to scam him.Could've given you something in return but it's absolutely your fault At least in my point of view.

There is a no-calling out rule here. I guess it makes sense as people can make unfair accusations and moderators can't check who is right, but you may want to edit the username out of this rather than get in trouble.

'Warning people' here doesn't seem to work in any event. I have seen seen warnings about one scammer at least three times which is how much anyone pays attention.

Reporting the scammer to Steamrep would be the best idea, although there are clearly already multiple reports against him.

EDIT - I can see you have now edited your post!

Someone who's been here for over 1.5 year should know better that to breat SG rules. Oh wait - you've never bother to get into community or as we see read basic rules at all...
Edit your post - or you will have bigger problems than just an impersonator - aka suspension and no trading at all.

EDIT: ok, your post has been edited. Nonetheless - forum is not a place to announce such a things. Do you think that someone who would fail to impersonator, aka wouldn't even check if SG profile match with Steam profile, would be following forums and reading all the random threads? No. So your topic do not serve anyone.

I've just been away from the trade scene, I haven't been trading for 3 months, but it's ok.
Feel free to report me, for spending my time warning people, caring about the ones that got scammed.

And why should I Edit my post? I've read the Guidelines, Terms of Service, and there's nothing I'm going against at now.
People warned me about the link and I edit the post and removed it, how else would I do it? Close the thread ? If so, why?
Make my mind clear, and I'll close it. Thanks!
