Any idea on how to get a CSGO key?

I have been trying to get one for what seems like an eternity. I filled out the survey immediately, I have been waiting for a long time, I have entered at least 70 contests for a key by now, but no key :(. What annoys me is that people who bash CS or people that don't play CS are getting keys rather than people like myself who actually love the game.

Your total playtime is css is 37 hours, you can't say that you love the game.

You do realize that the playtime measuring wasn't always there, right? It's like you didn't even think about the idea that maybe CSS died after all the consecutive, game-ruining updates.

I wouldn't consider myself a "hardcore" lover of CS, at all, but I have played it, on and off, since it was a rough-around the edges mod. I go through periods where I play it heaps, then leave it for a while. I have 135 hours logged. Not bashing you, but 37 hours in 3 years is nothing to spend on a game you "love". Shit, I've logged 161 hours just on Faerie Solitaire; 23 hours on Botanicula. I have 25 hours logged in Tomb Raider: Anniversary and I HATE that game! Steam started logging hours in 2009; in 3 years you've only played CS* for 40 hours? That's less than 2.5 minutes a day.

Also, if you find the "game-ruining" updates so horrific that you won't play a game you claim to love, you a) probably aren't Valve's ideal candidate for the beta and b) probably wouldn't enjoy CS:GO anyway!

Got Beta key 1-1.5 months later after beta started

achieved 676.2 hr of CSS

and 500+ hours of CS No-Steam( Yeah, I was a really bad person long time ago )

and Yeah.. Warthriller what do you mean "Game-Ruining"? Maybe Because it became harder to aim and handle the weapons? As for me last updates made the CSS much more competitive then it was before...

Still I don't really enjoy new current version of CS:GO (waiting for patches, that`ll fix weapon characteristics and the way they handling)

theres no other way than waiting,entering giveaways and having luck or trading.

Yeah, no idea how I got one. I don't even remember filling out the survey. It did rekindle my love for counter strike though, great game!

After filling out the survey, you'd pretty much have to wait more till VALVe sends you a copy.
It's all random, unless you're willing to trade away games for CS:GO though.

You can get it alot faster by emailing Steam support and saying why you deserve it with some begging and a sad story.

Hm... few days ago i found notification about something new in my inventory. It was... CS:GO. I tried to activate it on my account, but... it already exists here. WTF??? Some kind of miracle. Now i'm happy cause i have a May Hurray bundle by exchange it on SteamTrading.
I didn't played CS:S or classic CS a lot, may be few hours. And also didn't played L4D or TF (i've seen some guys with more 1000 hours of playing). Also won some DOTA2 copies during winter sale, but it's not my type of game (don't have a lot of time for good teamplay).
It's great RANDOM decide who will get the BETAs.
