3 hours of driving + 3.5 hours on ferries doesn't leave that much time for anything else, unfortunately.

With the stories getting longer and more interesting it's gradually getting harder to remember about your giveaways xD

NC Day 6
Up at sunrise for the long journey from Nags Head to Emerald Isle. Originally the ferry from Ocracoke to Cedar Island was supposed to be at 4:30 PM, but they cancelled that one and rescheduled us to 1:30PM.
Bridge under construction on the way to the Hatteras Island -> Ocracoke Ferry
We fed a random cat near the Ocracoke Lighthouse :D
Ponies on Ocracoke. They used to be wild horses, then apparently when the island was modernized, people kept running them over, so the National Park Service corralled all of them into pens.
Avocet? on the beach. I'm not a bird expert!
Jellyfish swimming around at Springer's Point
Smug looking bird
Lunch
And off on the next ferry for 2.5 hours!. They can fit a surprising number of cars. Bye bye land.
