Clicky

It seems to be a browser-only thing, so if you disable the Uplay plugins (why are there even plugins?) you should be fine I guess

To be absolutely sure you could delete everything from Ubisoft on your pc

To test this exploit: Clicky

Luckily Kaspersky already blocked that site for me because of this exploit (Note that that site isn't harmful, just shows what it could do - it only opens up the calculator).

I got "no plug in available" so I think that means I'm safe :P

Is this a Uplay thingy only or does it have an effect on older games like Beyond Good & Evil too?

Actually, I don't care. That game is worth the risk :D

How I love my No-Script, Malwarebytes, Spybot S&D, and habit of checking out if games install any third party DRM or other offensive CRAP like this BEFORE I install them..

This is why I never buy Ubisoft. Evil company, evil monitoring of users through Uplay, evil DRM; just bad all around for far too many reasons.

I'd buy Ubisoft only to remove this DRM and go for Steam :)

Or did you mean "buy FROM Ubisoft" :)?

Chances Ubisoft would've fixed it without any public disclosure holding their feet to the fire: ?

Anno 2070 isn't listed... so either I'm safe or they just didn't list it.

No browser plugin here either... Looks like I'm safe?

I did hear about this earlier in the day, and have also seen articles saying Ubisoft has pushed out a patch. See http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2012/07/ubisoft-drm-exploit-opens-pcs-to-security-risk/ for example.
