While I wait on an "official response", what do you think? (see image)

too clarify, i don't actually care about CV gains personally anymore (i'm not going anywhere anytime soon in levels), but i'm sick of seeing this type of favoritism go on. yes the humble monthlys are higher tier games that everybody wants even more then the games that come in the "leaps and bounds" bundle, but just being a better game shouldn't allow a free pass on one, and not the other.

Probably due to Happy Hour. Thank you Sundance85 for pointing that out.

[ticket closed / no point in waiting for them to confirm that's the reason]

Should the "Leaps and Bounds" bundle be considered bundled like it currently is?

i don't blame any one person. i totally understand why it got slipped into the bundlelist, its far far more common for all IG bundles to fall under that category. this very well be a simple mistake, but it's one i'd like to actually see corrected rather then just letting it slide.

yeah, but most of the time he just gets told thru messages what to add. or even if he wasn't told i don't blame him for not checking the discount rate out. but sundance is probably right, the HH does actually raise the discount even higher so it probably does belong there like it currently is anyways. that's something i didn't think of at all.

In the end everything get's bundled but I hope support gives you an answer why there's a discrepancy.

Leaps and Bounds bundle says it has a 90% discount. Also, it's much cheaper than humble monthly. And the Leaps and Bounds bundle has different tiers. So, maybe, that's why this is bundled and the other one isn't. Other than that, I don't care, bundle them both. :P

Retail: $20.88
Cost: $2.49

thats more then 90% paid. and humble gets up there to 92% on some months.. the threshold is supposed to be 95%

Because if you take Happy Hour discount into account the price is much lower.

Came here to say exactly this. With the happy hour discount it's like 96% off. I think the magical mark is 95% or something. Some games have even been added to the bundle list without been 'bundled' because they have had discounts higher than this.

Eh, we're all getting older every day, you're allowed to be forgiven the occasional brain-fart every now and then.

Aside from that, the mystery aspect might also play in favor of HB monthly.

yeah, but if that were the case then mystery unlocks on regular BTA tier bundles should also have that taken into consideration.
but i do agree, you're buying almost entirely blindly on monthlies and barely blind at all on regular ones. the happy hour raising the discount though is enough for me. even if it brings it only upto 94% (though i think it is above that), its way closer then only ~85% that only one bundle would of been.

hell i'll do the math here:

in order to qualify for best discount it takes $2.49 + $3.11 though so our base price is $5.60 for 5x bundles.
20.88(retail for 1bundle) x5 = 104.40

104.40 x 95% (normal threshold) = 99.18

104.40 - 99.18 = $5.22 --- since it costs $5.60 then it still technically doesn't hit 95% discount, but imo it's still close enough.

oh yeah, the multi-packs. i'll do that too. xD

Get 5 bundle gifts paying more than: $13.22 (plus the initial $2.49) = $15.71 (21bundles)

20.88 x 21 = 438.48

438.48 x 95% = 416.556

438.48 - 416.556 = $21.924 -- paid $15.71 xD so yes, at this point it exceeds the 95% threshold by a large margin. ^^

You can look at the group buys threads for the prices.
I was just offering a variable which might have some weight.

yeah, that comment above you is way over 95% off though after i was reminded that even one step further to the HH is HH mult-gift-packs. xD

Indeed. The threshold is not set in stone but normally it is ~ 95% percent but I guess it also depends on how heavily something gets exploited.
