It got a reduction when the second games Ultimate Edition was released. MHOJ2 released in 2020, they just changed the release date when 'ultimate' was added to trick he Steam system into giving them extra visibility.

Bandai Namco makes dramatic offers very often. There is no announcement to remove the game from the market but with anime games it happens often. I think this offer is just to scratch something into the game; since MY HERO ONE'S JUSTICE 2 came out last month.

The bad thing about buying this offer is that you will not be able to buy the DLC on Steam (90% discount), due to Steam's new policies.

MY HERO ONE'S JUSTICE 2 came out in 2020, just the "Ultimate Edition" was added to Steam last month and they changed the release date on the store page so the Steam system would give them extra visibility. Honestly I thought Valve had some sort of policy against doing things like that...

I couldn't give you the full context but what I understand is that; It is not a DLC policy, it is Steam's pricing policy, each transaction must be a minimum of $.5 dollars.

I'm huge fans of the manga and yeah considering grabbing it, but... It's unavailable on my region (SEA)...

Does the DLC include anything exclusive, or is it just unlocking things you can unlock by playing the base game?
Also is there anything in this game that's not in the sequel (characters, level arenas, story, etc.)?

It was "blocked" for purchase and activation in Ukraine as well, but I used a VPN and bought it and activated it with no problem

May get only for completeness sake. The game is considered by many to be an unfinished package, quickly abandoned after a couple DLC characters. At least it has spawned a much better sequel (althoguh I'd argue that is the game how it should have been from the get-go).

Only thing that seems superior to the sequel is the soundtrack.
