dead island isn't region restricted - only some keys are; gifts are perfectly fine (aka no post-activation region restriction)

for key restrictions: maybe - I guess it's gonna be hard to activate some other version in germany as usual :x

Dead Island IS region restricted afaik. At least its not availabe in the german shop..

They will probably allow activation in germany for a few weeks/months until it lands on the "famous list of games you shall not own".

It seems the Raptr rewards for GOTY are being (or have already been) unlocked. If they do another giveaway for Riptide, I guess they'll be fine too. :)
