Anyone else having problems with sync?

I tried to enter a raffle for a private group I'm in and it told me I wasn't in that group, even though I am. It displays that I'm actually not in any group, for some reason. So I've tried setting my profile to public over the past day or two to resync and all I get is this error message: "If you would like to force a refresh, please switch to a public Steam profile."

I've verified that the profile is public after temporarily switching it to that by logging out and visiting my page, but Steamgifts still seems to think I'm not in any group and my profile is private. I hope this isn't related to me trying to sync while the site was going up and down a few days back. :(

requests messed up with Chrome, etc...

ok, since you are using a browser, ctrl+F5 and the button should appear (say Yes to resend)

Me too. Just refresh it a few times. It's b/c of load. It worked for me after a few tries. This happened not too long ago and it comes in phases.

When I get that problem I switch to private on steam then i go back to public and at last I try to re-sync. Sometimes need to do that a couple of time but usually work.

I find that when that happens, pulling up my profile in Firefox sorts it out. Somehow.

This gave me the idea to pull up my cookies, delete all SteamGifts cookies and then relog into the website. Sync worked like a charm. Problem solved, though I'm not sure why. :)

Join the club (we could even create a group). Instead of temporary fixes as "keep refreshing" they should really provide a permanent one as sync is actually a key feature of this page.

It's not SG's fault. It's steam. "Just keep refreshing" is the fix :P
