itstoohard puzzle

There's a giveaway link at the end for those who complete it.

For the puzzle you will need Fallout 3, or a good friend who has Fallout 3. After you solve it, bump this thread with "solved" and please stand by.

My goal is to get this game in the hands of someone who really wants it and will appreciate having it on Steam.

Giveaway ends on 30.03.2016 at 22:00 GMT

Good luck!

I did enjoy New Vegas and 4 too. But 3 with all the dlcs is just so much content and so much laughs. It's simply the best.
If you wouldn't count the dlc's, I think I might actually go for New Vegas though. Don't hate me now, please?!

This!
also, I love fallout 3, but this puzzle is a pain, I'm stuck on part 1 already! Can't seem to google it, and haven't got fallout 3 installed right now :3
not like I need to finish the puzzle, I have NV anyways, but still, its a fallout related puzzle!

Exactly what I intended then.
Solving it is an adventure. Think of it as a side quest

It shouldn't be too hard, just look carefully and explore.

Nice puzzle, brought back many memories. Got stuck on Q4 for an hour but got it by just a lucky guess cause of other questions. Thanks for GA and BUMP!

The fact that F3, FNV and F4 are at the top of the poll shows how few people from the current generation of gamers have played F1 and F2. While FNV is admittedly the best game since the franchise was taken up by Bethesda (and that was purely because of the excellent writing from Obsidian), they never reached the awesomeness that the first two games under Black Isle had.

This is just sad. More people ought to try out the first two games.

PS: Just ignore that Brotherhood of Steel ever existed. That thing was crap.

I was thinking about playing 1 but to be honest it doesn't really look that interesting.

Really? What made you think they don't look interesting? I'm curious.

If I never played fallout, but want it... what's my chance to win it? I mean i dont pirate and stuff... >.>

If you can play Fallout 3 from a friend's library (family sharing, at their house etc.) then it's a matter of just finding the locations and getting the info you need for the puzzle, it's not as hard as it looks.

if I had such friends who are willing to share Fallout 3 or NV, I wouldnt actually need a giveaway xD Just saying _o_/

I mean isnt that the whole idea? ppl who cant actually afford to have a chance to win something they dont want to pirate x.x

I am giving you a good chance to get a free game, the least you can do is find a way to finish the puzzle.

Browsing all over the net like crazy would pretty much spoil fallout 3 for me, if I get it one day you know \o/ The puzzle is pretty much winnable only by people who already got the game or pirated it T_T Eh nvm... GL to the folks who solve it

As far as I know you can't really find the answers by googling - these are all very tiny details that aren't worthy of mention in the Fallout Wiki for example. Fallout 3 is necessary for completing the puzzle and that is mentioned in the first post of this thread.

That's my idea, it's a bit silly... I mean if I could afford fallout 3 to complete it, then NV wouldnt really be that of a problem giving the fact it's half the price\o/ Still nvm and gl to the ppls who can solve it

Half price? Where?

That is a terrible comparison though, since you are taking the price of the full FO3 and the base game only edition of FONV. Not to mention that whereas in FO3 only one DLC contributes anything to the story and all others are filler/fluff, in NV two DLCs are fluff and four are forming a separate storyline, so there the Ultimate Edition is pretty much "the" game and the base edition is half a game.

I just added the cheapest fallout 3's in my wishlist... but w.e.

p.s never actually played any of em to know what's what...

Cheapest Fallout 3 is this though: http://store.steampowered.com/app/22300/
That's the base game. Bethesda has a very simple pricing policy. At least it is easy to calculate with them.

Strange, but not unexpected. For some reason some people also only see the Ultimate Edition for New Vegas, not the base game. I usually chalk it up to Steam store being derpy again.
Although with FO3, the difference is that the base and GOTY are separate products, with NV the Ultimate is just a Steam bundle.
