I'm interested in getting a controller to use for steam big picture but am unsure what to get. I personally hate xbox controllers, the shape more than anything about them. but love ps3 controllers. I think the best thing to get is one of the logitechs, but i dont know which one is best and if anyone has one and has tried big picture, how do they perform with it? does the middle button work for friends?
i used to have issues with my old controller where games were hard to set, are they more adaptable these days?

sucks you dont like xbox because since its made by microsoft it practically works "out of the box" with most games i play no setup required,

im pretty sure you can hook up a ps3 controller to your pc, i dont know if it suport xinput or not though

and then get xpadder or joy2key for any games that dont natively support controllers

ive heard good things (reviews) about these

they look like a ps2 controller to me

whichever you decide on is mostly dependent on how much you wanna pay, wireless, wired

yeah heard good things about the F710's. As far as I can tell they are fairly well supported but rather get a first hand account of it.
Not that bothered if wired or not.

The Razor Gamepad is decent works with most games and the big picture. But the Windows Gamepads are the best (Dont Confuse This With A Xbox Controller Cause These Are Different).
