It happens for some games. The code is for a 2 pack. Other examples are ibb and obb and Space farmers.

It's a trap. They expect you to unleash the game onto your friends.
At least it's not as bad as The Ship which used to give 4 extra copies.

I recently won a gift on steamgifts, I activated the key and got a spare copy in my inventory. I think. The game was contraption maker, does anyone know how this happened? Good luck? Bug? It's a trap?
