So i bought the new Adventure Park game...

Hey guys, yesterday when i opened steam i saw a game i have never seen before. it was released on on the 8th of november and it's called adventure park It is (since most of you know it) a bit like rollercoaster tycoon only it tries to be a lot bigger.

however... in the tutorial mission i already had a lot of problems. first of all, the game is AWFULLY optimized. i keep ketting frame drops and i can't get any more than 25-30 FPS on a quad core 3.7 GHZ pc with a 460 GTX graphic card, without turning my graphic setting WAY down. ( i know that card is old but the game really doesn't look that good).

Second, they were greatly promoting their way of building your own rollercoasters. i don't like the way they did it. you can only drag and drop your track. when you hold down your mouse you can go up or down with the track, that's all. you can't put turbo's in there or brakes at certain points, and the game will pick a corner for you, since you can't. there are no looping, underground options or anything else like flips etc on top of that the coasters slow down WAY too fast, making it almost impossible to do a track without having your coaster slow down insanely after 1 or 2 drops.

Also you have to face every attraction, food stand etc with the entrance towards the paths, but it doesnt tell you where the entrance is and in some attractions it is extremely hard to find.

then the biggest problem, you can delete sections of the coaster, only to find out that it is very likely you cannot place anything back. it keeps saying that that coaster is in the way and you can't place anything. the game shows that the place where the coaster is in the way, is actually the points you try to connect it with. in other words, you can't connect it anymore and you will have to start over.

i was really excited to play this game but out of pure frustration, in the first mission after the turorial, when i tried to make a rollercoaster and i just couldn't since i couldn't place ANYTHING, i quit the game and i won't play it until a patch comes out.

this really sucks because if you look at the trailer it looks like a lot of fun :(

Did anybody else buy this game? did you have the same issue?

i really hope this gets fixed soon cause i like games like this!
