I would install the device from the manager and see if it pops up again when i plug it in. Sorry if this doesn't work, I never had this problem.

Yea the PC needs a driver to communicate with the mouse. The mouse is fine, the PC is fine, it is just the link in between them that is missing (although it is a bit weird that it is not working if you only uninstalled the specific drivers for the mouse).

Try with Snappy Driver Installer, it's a very efficient program that finds and download the right drivers for you :)
Is it a wireless mouse ? make sure it's plug in a port which works or if it's plugged at all.

I accidentally deleted my mouse driver from my control panel and it comes back however my mouse does not work... In device manager it says mytrackpad is broken but my mouse is finehowever its not working and i think that there is something wrong with my laptop... My mouse is polaroid dx 7000. Can u guys help me within the hour. If not i might factory or hard reset, hopefully that works. Its been like this for a few days
