i downloaded it and had a brief look and of course as you expect pictures from games like Golden Axe, Sonic and Streets of rage to name but a few are all over the book and just saying unofficial is not good enough

No offense Lugum but for somebody who posts soo sooooooo many threads like you do, you're really terrible at it. No context, no original content - you just paste a link to some video game article or sometimes the article itself.

You know... a "Mega Book Collection" is not something most people are familiar with.
Going by the name alone it could be a collection of public domain books and stories by aspiring writers.
It could be a new pirate bay for eBooks like Z library (or whatever the name was) used to be.
It could even be a Steam app with digital comic books or stuff like that.

For anybody else who is just as confused as I was about this thread here is an article that fills in the many, many blanks this thread left.

TimeExtension: Greyfox Books Release Mega Drive Book For Free After Sega Issues Cease And Desist

I don't see a problem here πŸ™‚

The title of the thread says "SEGA" and "Digital Book". When you open the link, you see what it is and decide if you want to read it.
I got interested and downloaded it. I think the others did the same.

Like all my threads are like that, i did this one kinda fast in between a TF2 session (because if you go afk too long you get kicked), i thought later to add more context actually but as m1ka said, i guess people that read sega and free mega drive book that would already fit the bill.. If you are from the 80-90's you definitely will know.

You did alright I don't expect a piece of game journalism as long as useful information is provided. Anybody interested in the deeper story can use a search engine(that's what they are for).
