Prof. X has tinkered with minds without permission before. Because he is not a habitual power abuser, it only makes it worse, because it makes him harder to read, unpredictable.

But if he is sneaky enough, he would be able to keep his abilities a secret even after presidency. I am sure he could pull that off. And when it would be discovered, he would probably be able to keep it from becoming a (inter)national scandal.

And personally, Jean may r.i.p., imo (though she recently returned from the future..unless it isn’t really her). I prefer someone like Emma Frost more, who is a flawed human being with snark, while Jean is more OP and Mary Sue-ish.

Batman isn't a superhero. He's just a hero. Basic logic.
