Edit: Previous versions of this post included links to a Gleam auto-solver script. I'm no longer supporting that script and I don't recommend that anyone use it.

Ah, now I understand. That's how one discredits someone. Just say something one can't disprove.

Am I the only person who just can't be bothered with gleam giveaways even if it's automated?

I clicked twice on some of them, saw the amount of stuff I had to do for a shitty free game and I was like, fuck it.

If it's gleam I ignore it automatically, not worth the hassle and the game is usually going to be garbage anyway.

Usually a lot of faff for very little reward, I tend to steer clear of gleam giveaways too.

I think it only "clicked" on groups I'm already in, but not really entered new ones. I had to do that manually.

Is it possible to implement twitter/youtube follows/retweets etc? It's a great script for those who wants you to enter over 9000 groups.

There used to be times when people wanted just two steps or so, now it's a complete sellout.

It's likely possible.

Youtube subscriptions would actually be pretty easy, but I first need to find an active giveaway with a Youtube requirement.

To get a Youtube subscription entry it's usually enough just to visit the channel and it gives you the entry even without subbing.

Thanks for the source, the script will now automate youtube subscriptions and some links.

Great job, there's also few entries like visit facebook page, visit this page to enter, Google+ etc.

You can find links for gleam there for example - https://www.reddit.com/r/giveaways/

Tested and worked well next step twitter and website visits and it would be next to perfect.

I think there is some problem with it. It makes me leave groups that I am already a member of that's part of a giveaway.

You're right, I can confirm there's a problem, and that it appears to be leaving pretty much all of the Gleam.io groups regardless. I'll make a note of it in the OP and see if I can fix it tomorrow.

This issue is now fixed in version 1.0.3. The script auto-updates itself I believe every 24 hours, but you can force an update by re-installing the script.

I was about to say it does not do any steam actions then I noticed the 3rd Known Issue. It takes some time indeed and looks as if it is doing nothing but it does the job in the end.
It works for some links but it seems it doesn't do social media actions, somehow the other autosolver script seems to be doing these.

This. This is probably the only way to get the keys the giveaway without supporting them by being another number to them.

Great job but I still seem to be part of many groups, about 10 Digital Homicide groups, reinstalling didn't help.

Not sure I understand what you're saying. This script won't make you leave any groups that you're already a part of. The only time the script will leave a group is right after it joins it.

After installing your script I tried it on a few gleam giveaways, I wasn't part of any of those groups before.

If there was an issue with a past version of the script that caused you to enter a group, but not leave it, future versions will not correct that for you, you'll need to leave those groups manually. Do you think you can send me the giveaways you're having issues with so that I can test them?

Cool, cool.
This is kind of against the point of the giveaways though.
And eh just fyi, according to this link the winners are sometimes manuallly checked if they have fulfilled the requirements. So if you leave the groups again it won't be counted as a valid entry even if the checkmark is still there.
That is if the giveaway administrator isn't too lazy to check the winner manually.

That only applies to raffles and not instant giveaways. If you're participating in a raffle and you want to join the group for that reason, this won't prevent you from doing that.

Edit: I might consider disabling the script for Gleam.io Raffles, because I really didn't have them in mind when creating this. The intention was really more to get quick entries in for an instant giveaway before it expires. I'd be interested to see what people who regularly enter Gleam.io Raffles have to say about this.

Ah yes, you're right. Forgot about the instant ones. I call the raffles giveaways also.
I usually enter the raffles. There's not much difference though. Just for giveaways where the winning entry is manually checked, leaving the groups will invalidate your entry.
