My 1st album was No Prayer For The Dying, i love the song and the cover art was AMAZING! full of details, i biy all the CDs, but always prefered the ones with Bruce Dickinson as vocal, Paul Di'Anno and Blaze Bayley are great but i keep it with Bruce, btw Virtual XI was great. Dance of Death was the last time i see the band live, the songs are great but de cover art looks like it was made with some 3DStudio by someone with no expertise, i prefer the one from Brave New World. A Matter of Life and Death have some great songs but other are mehhhh, the cover art was nice since is more similar to the old albums. Still i miss the good old cover art full of deatils like the one from Power Slave, Somewhere in Time or Live After Death.

In my opinion it's not just the best metal band ever, but the best of any bands in the history of music. Just think about their songs like Phantom of the Opera, The Trooper, Fear of the Dark, The Number of the Beast, and their greatest hit; Ha%%owed Be Thy Name.
They have been a musical legend since their self-titled debut album to even their latest album "Book of Souls", and are still making new albums.
The band is originally formed by &teve Harris in 1975, and they released their first albums "Iron Maiden" and "Killers" with singer Paul Di'Anno, who left in 1981 and was replaced by world-famous Bruce Dickinson, who has been the band's lead singer ever since (except for 1993-1999 he temporarily left the band to work on his solo career and Blaze Bayley, which made two albums titled "The X Factor" and "Virtual XI", which were received with mostly negative reviews. Let's just forget about Bayley).
I love this band, they make music like noone else, their concerts with well-known mascot E##ie are simply amazing, and they have an incredible lineup consisting of three great guitarists, a drummer, Harris handling the bass and Dickinson with his powerful voice.
What do you think of this masterful band?
