Question related to Uplay's "buy game get one free" promotion

There is currently a promotion on Uplay where you can get a free game out of chosen ones when you buy a game on their store for 20€ or more.
Did someone took part in the promotion and can tell me if you get the free game as a key (which you can give away or something) or is it directly added to your Uplay account?

It isn't Feb 24 yet so nobody knows (as far as I know).

Well for me it says "From February 19 to March 4".

Hmm? That's odd. My email tells me we have until Feb 24 (and I'm guessing that's when they pass out the games).
