its a game where you get to break laws and cant play on the pc.. sooooo ya its pc version is ported junk and console versions you obviously cant mod without hacking xbox. No Win.
Its fun WHEN THE GAME WORKS ON PC. but other times it does "suck" cause pc player 1/2 the time cant even play it properly.

PRO:

  • Well though out type of game
  • Past games have mod support
    Cons:
  • no effort making put into GTA IV and GTA V (because they're even too lazy to port GTA V and sell at half MRSP price for pc)
  • I dont feel the pleasure or meaning in the story mode for GTA IV but very funny at times.
  • need to install extra stupid program on pc just to play (Social club crap)

Idk I feel like GTA does suck and is over rated because we the pc players cant even enjoy playing with our friends or selfs and even half the time no splitscreen in pc games. But console players will also never experience awesome mods like Iron Man, Portal, Harry Potter, Tsunami Wave and other mods.

I have the same opinion, I like Sandobox games, but (even though GTA invented sandbox style, I grant it that) I'm not particulary a fan of GTA games. however @Gabzilla, making a thread to say that in a website like this is looking for trouble...

Nah, not really. Sandboxes have been existed from the MS DOS era. It's just that shooting at grannies is more appealing than surviving on an island or micromanaging a spaceship.

Technically the release is the 17th but that doesn't mean thousands of copies haven't been sold. Copies have been leaked for days now.

Still there aren't thousand of copies leaked, still I don't think playing it for like... 3-4 hours can justify a "suck".
Just see the reality: People prefer to give a judgement rather than elaborate it a bit.

GTA3 was also amazing when it came out, though it suffers from the fact that it basically created a genre and every game in the genre since has (out of necessity) improved on it.

But if you think that GTA3 sucked, you weren't around when it came out to see that sort of huge continuously-loading living-feeling free-roaming city for the first time. It was something nobody had seen a game do before, certainly not on consoles.
